Welcome to the blog of our English Course in Torhout.
Sunday: day 1
Sunday it's the first day of our English Course in Torhout. We're looking forward to meeting all of our students and to spending an excellent week together! Believe us, it’ll be an incredible adventure. With one clear rule: we talk English always and everywhere!
Are you ready for the start of your week with Ruysschaert? You'll find all the practical information about the English Course via the personal link you've received by email. Just to make sure:
- We expect pupils to arrive between 10h15 and 11h30. On arrival you'll receive the first practical information. Then you can take your luggage to your room and make yourself at home. If you still have time, feel free to get to know the other participants.
- At noon the director warmly welcomes everybody, parents and pupils, to the opening session, explains the arrangements and calls out the pupils’ names so that they can join their class.
- Then comes the official start of the course.
- We start with the midday meal followed by a meeting game and a tour of the institute.

Monday: day 2
Yesterday, our fabulous students arrived at Torhout to take part in a wonderful experience at Ruysschaert.
There was a speech at noon where students got a first impression of what they will be enjoying. After the opening session, pupils said goodbye to their parents and met their group. Before having the tour of the institute, they had lunch. In the afternoon, students could enjoy lessons and activities.
We ended our first day at Ruysschaert with the first meeting games.

Tuesday: day 3
Monday marks our students' second day at Ruysschaert, where they participated in a volleyball competition and had their first singing session. Following that, they watched the Belgium vs. France football match. In the evening, they engaged in various competitions.

Wednesday: day 4
On Tuesday, our students had the chance to join a yoga session and are now familiar with the routine. In the afternoon, they had the opportunity to visit the local swimming pool. In the evening, they enjoyed the "Wonderful Word Games."

Thursday: day 5
We have come to the middle of our English course. Today, class pictures were taken, so students had to strike their best pose. They had another singing session and enjoyed a bowling activity. Additionally, the students had the opportunity to participate in the "Greatest Artist Game".

Friday: day 6
We are nearing the end of our English course. Yesterday, a group photo of all participants was taken. Following this, we held the Ruysschaert’s Got Talent show, in which the winners of various competitions were announced and several talents were shown.

Today it is already the last day of our English course in Torhout. The language adventure has flown by so fast! We have laughed, played and learned a lot. And all in a foreign language. We gladly share all those beautiful moments in this way with our closing video.
